Condenser systems. - A gauge for indicating the vacuum or condenser efficiency in a steam - condenser consists of a U-tube or simil a r differential pressure gauge, of which one limb 3 is sealed and contains water and is maintained at the temperature of the hot-well or of the circulating-water discharge, and the other limb 5 communicates with the vacuum space of the condenser. Several forms of gauge are described.
