Abstract

8883. Heyl, G. E., and Baker, T. T. April 15. Rotary disk valves.- An air-regulating valve for use with an internalcombustion engine comprises a disk i, Fig. 4, having an eccentric annular channel i<1>, working over a plate h having two outlet passages h<1>, leading to the induction pipe, which are more or less covered by turning the disk. The air is drawn in silently through perforations i<2> in the disk.
