Plant; regulating .-Relates to improvements in the regulating - device for motor - driven centrifugal compressors described in Specification 22,447/08, [Class 8, Air and gases, Compressing &c.], and consists in providing a simple disk 25 for the float, which is situated in the suction pipe 27 of the compressor, and operates a throttle valve 8 controlling the inlet of the motor which may be a turbine of any suitable construction. The invention further consists in the provision of a spring 28 controlling the movements of the disk 25, and in the arrangement of the disk in a straight portion of the suction pipe 27. A screw plug 30 adjusts the pressure of the spring.
