21,848. Euston, E. Sept. 27. Pigments.-A white lead is prepared by mixing together two precipitates, one containing less than 11À3 per cent of carbonic acid, and the other more, until the mixture contains 11À3 to 14À5 per cent. The mixing of the precipitates may be effected by mixing the treated solutions containing the precipitates or by mixing the precipitates either before or after mixing with oil.
