Abstract

110,405. Grossmann, J. Oct. 20, 1916. Sodium bisulphate is prepared in a porous friable form by adding an inorganic carbonate such as sodium carbonate with or without a diluent such as sodium sulphate, to molten nitre cake. According to the Provisional Specification, any substance which evolves gases or vapour may be used instead of a carbonate, a number of such substances being mentioned.
