Abstract

115,020. Titan Co. Aktieselskabet. March 23, 1917, [Convention date]. Pigments.-Precipitated titanium hydrate containing a small quantity of sulphuric acid is treated with barium chloride as described in Specification 104,885, and calcined as described in Specification 110,535. A mixture of titanium oxide wholly or partly in the crystalline form, and barium sulphate, suitable for use as a pigment is obtained.
