Abstract

15,667. Bopp & Reuther. Dec. 16, 1912, [Convention date]. Inspection of internal parts, facilitating.-To facilitate the insertion and removal of a meter into and out of a main, the meter is carried by a cover f, Fig. 1, secured to a fixed union which carries a valve c. To insert the meter, the valve e is opened, and the metering-device i, rod h, and recording-instrument k are pushed downwards to the position shown in the Figure. To remove the meter, the rod h is pulled upwards, the valve e is closed, and, if necessary, the cover f and the meter are removed.
