Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and metal springs. - Straight radiallyarranged leaf springs 5, Fig. 1, secured rigidly in the hub, pass at their free ends between pairs of rollers 4, which are fitted with springs, Fig. 4, to provide spring resistance to lateral displacement. The springs 5 at their inner ends fit for some distance in radial grooves 11 and have lateral extensions 6, Fig. 2, fitting in the hub and in a ring 8 secured by nuts 9. Adjustable radial helical springs in tension may be arranged between the leaf springs, Fig. 3.
