Abstract

24,133. Yoder, E. Oct. 22. Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and metal springs.-A cylindrical outer hub member 2 and an inner member 1, preferably polygonal, are connected by leaf or bar springs 6 arranged as chords and normally straight or flexed. The centres of the springs pass through two pairs of rollers in brackets 5. The ends are capable of some endlong movement and pass also between single pairs of rollers in brackets 4 fixed to ribs 3. The springs are arranged in pairs and spaced axially, Fig. 3.
