Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and helical springs.-Relates to wheels of the kind in which the rigid outer rim is connected to the hub or an inner rim by jointedlink parallelograms, of which the joints not pivoted to the rims are connected by a circumferential series of helical springs. Brackets g, Fig. 1, are fixed to the rims, to which are pivoted two joints of the double frames i. The remaining joints on the pins k, Fig. 2, are connected one to the other by open-coiled springs m, and to the joints of adjacent frames by pairs of closely-coiled springs n.
