Abstract
28,206. Jay, I. Dec. 14. Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and metal springs other than helical and volute springs.-Curved blade-spring spokes are secured in a detachable manner, as by bolts 5, to one or more U-shaped spring plates 2 fixed inside the rim. Preferably, two plates are arranged back to back and secured to each spoke. The plates may be formed integrally by bending one strip of metal. The inner ends of the spokes are held detachably in slits in the hub by clamping them between two side plates 4, Fig. 3.
