Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and metal springs other than helical and volute springs. - The ends of curved blade spring spokes C are dovetailed and fitted into corresponding transverse grooves in the hub and rim. Clamping-plates secured by transverse bolts hold the ends in place laterally. The rimplates D, Fig. 4, are doubled on themselves, and the internal edges rest on shoulders D<1> formed on the sides of the rim. The outer doubled portions are bent to form a rounded seating for the elastic tyre.
