Cooking-stoves; open fire-places; casings.-The flue of a kitchen-range or like back boiler is formed in part of a metal fitting comprising side portions b<1> extending down to the level of the boiler bottom and an upper front portion c preferably inclined to correspond with the fire-back c'. Projections e are provided at the bottom to build into the brick-work and projections f at the top serve as supports for the damper. The sides b may be lined internally with fire-clay.
