14,436. Wilson, H. F. June 27. Fireplaces. - A slow-combustion fireplace is provided with a fuelholder having a sloping base 1 below the level of the hearth 6, an inclined back 3, and sides 2. The front of the fuel-holder is enclosed by a rib 4, the upper surface of which is on a level with the hearth. The fuel-holder, which is entirely of firebrick, may be integral or in sections.
