Breech actions, sliding breech-block; breech actions, sliding barrel and breech-block.-Relates to automatic guns in which the firing-pin 3, and the rebound spring 8 surrounding it are mounted within a small casing at the forward end of the hollow breech-bolt, and consists in protecting the spring from the powder gases by a tubular projection 11 extending back, from the bolt head, between the spring and the firing-pin.
