20,833. Schnabel, M. Sept. 12. Atmospheric vapour burners; vaporizing-apparatus.-Relates to vaporizers for liquid-fuel burners. The liquid fuel, contained in the receptacle 1, Fig. 1, is forced up the tube 2 by means of the pump 3, and vaporized in the conical vaporizer 5. The gas passes through the nozzle 7 into the mixing chamber 8, the mixed air and gas burning at the holes 12. The cap 10, which produces a noiseless burner, may be replaced by a perforated disk 10, Fig. 3. In an alternative form, the vaporizer may take the form of an annular conical chamber.
