Breech actions, sliding breech-block.-Relates to automatic pistols in which the breech-block has guide-ribs engaging corresponding grooves in the frame, and consists in providing the nose of the sear a with a lateral safety-lug a<2> which engages one of the guide-ribs on the breech-block. This rib is interrupted at two places v<2>, v<3>, Fig. 3, to allow movement of the sear when the breech-block is fully opened or completely closed.
