Breech actions, sliding breech-block.-Relates to spring ejector mechanism for fire-arms, and consists in a construction whereby the ejector is readily inserted or removed, and is held in place solely by its controlling - spring. The ejector 1 has a pivot 2 engaging a recess 3 in the breech frame and a leaf spring 6, inserted in a groove 5 and engaging a shoulder 9, keeps the ejector in position.
