Abstract

16,517. Allgemeine Elektricitõts Ges. July 13, 1911, [Convention date]. Exhaust, treating.-A primary motor is supplied with main-pressure fluid through a pipe controlled by a stop-valve a, and an intermediate stage of the motor is supplied with the exhaust from one or more auxiliary motor through a pipe c controlled by a stop-valve b. The pipe c is provided with a branch d controlled by a non-return valve e leading to the atmosphere, a condenser, or to a low stage of the primary motor. The valves a, b can be closed by hand-wheels f, g, or by trip mechanism controlled by hand or an emergency governor, or the catch connected to the valve b is released by mechanism controlled by a piston n connected on one side to a source of constant pressure, and on the other side to the pipe c or casing of the valve b. The valve e is raised by fluidpressure, or by lever mechanism connected to the spindle of the valve b.
