Abstract

Wind and like screens.-Wind-screens, principally for the back seats of motor-cars, are carried by a single horizontal arm, either detachable or jointed. As shown, a screen comprising a pair of sections a and side wings a', hinged to a standard b as described in Specification 14,230/12 is hinged at d to the arm c. This arm may be mounted to slide in and be detachable from a horizontal socket on the back s of the front seat; or a vertical socket f, Fig. 4, may be used. The arm may be adapted to fold in a vertical plane by a joint h, Fig. 4, or in an horizontal plane by joints at f<1>, l, and, if desired, also at n, 'Fig. 6, so that the screen can be brought forward against the seat back s. For a similar purpose the arm c may be telescopic.
