Windscreens.-Relates to windscreens for the near seats of motor &c. vehicles of the kind comprising two portions, each of which is supported from one end of a horizontally disposed arm 6, the other end whereof is pivotally mounted in a socket on the vehicle body so that the complete screen may be arranged in a position adjacent to the back of the front seat or in a position near to the occupants of the rear seat. According to the invention, the panel sections of each half of the screen are so mounted relative to the swinging arm 6 that minor adjustments of the position of the screen may be effected when the arms 6 are at or near either of the two extreme positions. In the arrangement shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the main or front section 8 of each half-screen is adapted for pivotal movement about a vertical axis or pivots 11 out of alignment with the vertical axis or pillar 7 of the connection of the panel section with the swinging arm, short pivoted arms 12a preferably being disposed between the pillars 7 and pivots 11. In a modification, Fig. 5, the inner end of each arm 6 is provided with a socket 6<a> receiving a pin 11<c> depending from the side panel section 9 at a point slightly behind the vertical pillar 7.
