121,545. Maudslay, R. W., and Standard Motor Co. Feb. 18, 1918. Pivot adjustments.-A joint for a motor windscreen comprises a bearing part D fitting a socket C in the supporting-pillar A and engaging a journal L at the end of the screen B. The bearing is made from one piece and then divided by saw-cuts. The upper bearing part is held to the lower part by screws G, H, a distance-piece F being interposed on one side. The clamping screw H is provided with a disk head I which is pivoted at J so that it can be turned clear of obstructions. The journal is grooved at M to engage a projection N on the piece F, and is formed on a channelled corner-piece. K of the screens.
