Spray carburettors.- The spraying - chamber, the nozzle C, the float P, and the float chamber B are co-axial, the valve N controlling the flow of fuel to the chamber B being connected to a tube 0 surrounding the pipe D leading to the nozzle C and having a collar O<1> at its upper end resting on the float. The mixture exit, and the auxiliary air inlet V are controlled by semicylindrical valves R, S, one or both of which may be hollowed out at the bottom as at Z. In a modification one cylindrical valve controls the primary air supply U, another cylindrical valve controls the mixture exit, and there is no auxiliary air inlet.
