Abstract

Clutches, friction.-A coil clutch adapted to grip a block on a driving-shaft 1 has one end 10 secured to a surrounding drum while the other end 11 is hooked and adapted to be engaged by a hooked lever 12 pivoted to the drum at 13, and the end of which is engaged by a gate in a spring-pressed sliding bolt 14, the head 19 of which abuts against the sliding collar 18. When the bolt 14 is pushed in, the clutch is applied by the lever 12 acting against the influence of a spring.
