Abstract

Ink-ribbon mechanism.-The spool E is detachably mounted on and positively coupled to the spindle A by means of a detent B formed with a nose B<2> adapted to engage a slot D<2> in the spool. The detent is pivoted on a pin B<1> and is pressed outwards by a spring C, the play of the detent being limited by a pin B<4> and a slot B<3>. The spool is mounted or dismounted by being pushed over the detent, the nose B<2> having rounded edges.
