Abstract

Mounting and dismounting.-Relates to guns, the barrels of which are dismemberable into a barrel-tube A and breech jacket B and are connected to a slide C. The invention consists in constructing the two barrel-parts and the slide so that, in assembling the gun, the tube A can be placed on the slide and then connected with the jacket B from the rear. The trough-shaped slide C and the tube A are connected bv interlocking ribs a<3>, c<2>, and by a projection a<4> engaged with a recess c<3>. The breech jacket B is secured on the tube A, in known manner, by interrupted ribs a<1>, b<1> and a locking-device D, and engages the rear-end of the slide C bv interlocking ribs b<5>, c<4>.
