Luggage-carriers ; mud-guards.-A drop-frame carrier bicycle has a framework for supporting a front carrier consisting of two side members 2 one at each side of the head secured to the head at 3 and extending backwards to be fixed at their rear extremities to an oblique tube 8, which connects the upper part of the head with the other part of the cycle frame. The carrier framework may be made up of a single tube or rod bent into the form of a triangle, the base 1 of which serves as the transverse connecting-bridge. The framework may be held in perforated lugs integral with the head lug 5. A metal plate 12 secured by screws to the framework serves as a mud-guard. Name-plates 26 may be fixed to the front of the frame 15, which is mounted upon the framework 1, 2 to accommodate a basket &c., and a lamp bracket 27 may be fixed to the base 1. A rear carrier is also described, having a name-plate attached.
