222,265. Wiseman, Ltd., A., and Weaver, T. H. Aug. 3, 1923. Motor-cycles; motors and gear-boxes, mounting or supporting.-The engine and the gear-box are mounted independently within the loop frame of a motor cycle in such a way that either may be removed without disturbing the fastenings of the other. The engine is carried by brackets d', d<2> attached respectively to the front and the bottom parts of the loop frame, and the gear-box f is suspended on a two-part bracket e extending forwardly from the rear part of the loop frame and downwardly to the bottom part. The gear-box may be secured to plates e<2> clamped to the bracket e. Forward extensions of the bracket e may carry the magneto g. Specification 217,730 is referred to.
