Timing.-In driving ignition magnetos, of the type oscillated by a trip lever, the tappet to displace this is mounted on revolving disk by means of a crank, so that at starting its position can be altered. The tappet e is mounted on a revolving disk f by means of a crank h, a spindle i on which is secured a milled nut k, by means of which the crank may be turned so that one or other of the recesses h<1>, h<2> engages a peg m for starting the running respectively. In the starting position, a pin n in the spindle i rests on the face of the disk f, but when turned for running, this pin is drawn into a slot n<1> by a spring o.
