Jackets and covers.-A pneumatic-tyre cover comprises fabric layers a separated at the sides of the cover by sheets of Para rubber b, a layer of Para rubber d, a layer of transverse cords e, and an outer layer of Para rubber j. The ends of the cords pass outside the hard rubber cores of the beads, the outer edges of which are formed from rolls of fabric h. Fabric layers i are arranged at the sides of the cover. The cords are made from rubber - impregnated threads or strands, which are separated by rubber, and are stretched before use.
