Jackets and covers.-In tyre covers comprising fabric. layers adhered together by rubber solution or the like, each layer is formed of two or more circumferential strips arranged side by side, the circumferential edges of the strips in each layer being of serrated or pinked form adapted to engage into one another. In a modification, the edges may be of this or other form, and are connected by a rubber strip b, the edges in one layer being arranged to break joint with those in the other layers. The ends c, c<1> of the circumferential strips may be of serrated or pinked form and overlapped.
