Atmospheric vapour burners. - In order to centre the nipple g relatively to the mixing- tube h and to render it accessible for cleaning as well as to regulate the internal air supply to the burner, the mixing-tube h is provided with a slidable perforated cap y having a spring tongue or the like for securing it in position; and with a central aperture through which passes a cylindrical downwardly-extending part of the nipple when the cap is in its raised position.
