[Addition to 6700/09.] Incandescent gas burners. -An additional spring 8 is arranged within the spring 5 which separates the two parts of the upright or inverted mixing- tube, as described in the parent Specification and the outer spring 5 maybe made of wire of triangular cross-section. The spring 8 rests between the gas nipple and the upper part of the mixing - tube so that it can be compressed to regulate the distance between the two parts of the mixing-tube, and its upper end may be made conical to prevent lighting-back.
