Abstract

Incandescent gas burners. -The usual air-inlets are replaced by a helical spring 5 inserted between two parts 2<a>, 2<b> of the mixing-tube, in order to prevent vibration. The spring 5 is made separate, and rigidly connected to, or compressed into, the parts of the mixing-tube. According to the Provisional Specification, more than one spring may be employed, or part of the mixing-tube may be formed as a spring.
