Incandescent gas burners. -An upright incandescent gas burner with slots or apertures 4<1> in the bunsen tubes, which supports the burner head 2, has an internal sleeve 5 which may be operated from the exterior to vary the number of the slots or apertures through which the mixture passes so as to compensate for differences in the quality of the gas consumed. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 12,546 / 09 and 13,943/09.
