Valve with flexible ring covering ports.-A valve for controlling the flow of liquid which may be used in a siphon head, as shown, or in a water tap &c. consists of a stem A having lateral ports a<1> communicating with a central port a<2> and closed by an elastic ring B, which fits closely into an opening C, so that, when the stem is depressed, the ring B is rolled off the ports a'. The opening C may be formed by the walls of the bottle neck or by a cup on the siphon .discharge tube.
