Conductors A of the squirrel-cage winding of an induction motor are joined to the highresistance or other end-rings C by connexions D doubled back upon themselves so as to have appreciable length with minimum self-induction. The connexions D may be cast integrally with the end-rings, and each connexion may be made common to two or more conductors.
