Exhaust, disposing of.-In a centrifugal ejector pump condenser having an impeller d with nozzles e spraying water into a hood g, as described in Specification 21,555/09, [Class 110(i), Centrifugal and screw fans &c.], the incoming steam is directed by blades m upon rotor blades k in order tc give energy to the rotor. The condensate passes out through blades h on the periphery of the impeller. In modifications the steam is directed by suitable blades upon the water jets in the hood to increase the velocity. The apparatus may be supplied with fresh steam, in which case it forms a self-condensing turbine for generating power.
