Brake mechanism. - In a rollerlever brake for cycles, in which the roller-lever is concealed within the handle-bar, a return spring e, coiled around the lever, is secured to the lever at one end by a transverse screw e<1> and at the other end e<2> is bent into line with the lever and engaged with a hole d<1> in a disk d secured within the handle-bar near to the stem. The disk serves as the inner bearing for the lever.
