Abstract

Holders. - A device for connecting a lampholder directly to main conductors consists of a plate d of insulating- material, carrying two strips g, g<1>, preferably bent as shown to receive the conductors and provided with screws j to pierce the insulation on them. The lamp-holder is connected to the strips by wires h. A cover k of insulating- material is retained by two screws l engaging threaded apertures in a plate c, held between the body of the holder and a nipple b. A protective cap of rubber &c., preferably cylindrical with slots to pass over the strips g, g', may be fitted over the device. In a modification, the strips g, g' may have tubular ends through which the conductors are threaded. The device may be used in decorative designs &c.
