Incandescent lamps.-A holder for use in places where it is desired to support the holders on thin supporting-bodies, consists of two detachablyconnected parts, one of which passes through an opening in the support therefor, and the other extends beyond the support. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the main body A is provided with a shoulder a and a screw-threaded portion A<4>, which passes through an opening in the support B and is fixed in position by an engaging screw-threaded ring A<5>, which is made of copper or aluminium to be readily adaptable to the porcelain body. Fig. 4 shows a form in which the screw-threaded end of the holder extends through the support B. It is held in position by the shoulder c and the screwthreaded ring C<3>, working on the screw-threaded exterior U' of the body of the holder.
