1,075,339. Lampholders. HOLLANDSCHE DRAAD-EN KABELFABRIEK N.V. Sept. 8, 1964 [June 18, 1964], No. 36791/64. Heading H2E. In a watertight holder for a lamp 1 having a screw-threaded contact 4 and a sealing washer 15 of Beat-resisting rubber, the central contact 10 of the holder is spring-loaded so that the holder can accommodate lamps which vary in size slightly without affecting the efficiency of the seal 15. The latter preferably has ribs on its outer and inner surfaces, The contact 10 and the screw and contact 8 are mounted in a body 7 of rigid synthetic material, which is surrounded by a rubber easing 5 to which the sheath of the cable 6 is united and around which is arranged a fixing bracket 13. The space within the body 7 closely surrounds an inserted lamp.
