Abstract

The holder, for a warning light on electrical equipment consists of conducting tube (2) enclosing the body of the bulb and resting with its end against a lip around the end of the body. Axial contact is made by screwing a cap assembly onto this externally threaded tube. A spring-loaded axial contact (12) touches the axial button contact of the bulb. The side contact (16) is electrically connected to the wall of the cap (and therefore via the tube to the bulb body.) The sprung axial contact is unsulated (14, 15) from the metal cap. The entire arrangement fits inside an insulating sleeve (9) inside an outer tube (4) that is clamped (by a nut (6)) through the wall of the equipment.
