Abstract

1,047,663. Lamp holders. PRESSAC Ltd. Aug. 9, 1965 [March 4, 1965], No. 9218/65. Heading H2E. A lamp holder is mounted in an aperture in a panel 12 by means of resilient fingers 5 integrally formed with the insulating body. The outer part of the tubular body is turned back upon itself and slit at 6 to form the fingers 5, the extreme end portion forming a collar 7. A grommet 2 may be slid from the inner end of the body, part of it 9 wedging between the fingers 5 and the body itself, and the collar part 10 being held over collar 7, thus forming a dustproof joint. The body and grommet may both be formed from thermoplastics material, the grommet preferably being more flexible than the body.
