Spray carburettors.-The mixing-chamber a is of considerable diameter compared with its height, and is fitted with a hand-actuated primary air valve e and a suction-actuated supplementary-air valve g of large diameter. The nozzle b. is situated about half-way up the mixing-chamber, and may just protrude through a diaphragm l. The primary air is heated in a pipe around the exhaust pipe. The outlet pipe i preferably has a diameter equal to the primary air-inlet pipe and is situated in the upper half of the chamber a. A perforated disk n regulates the air to the valve g.
