Abstract

Aug. 2 Boxes for incandescent gas mantles.-Fig. 1 shows a cardboard or like blank, of which the part a is to form the bottom of the box, the parts b, c two of the sides, the part d a support for the mantle, and the part f the cover. All the parts are flanged for folding inwardly. Hooked portions c<3>, c<4> are received in slits b<3>, b'. An annular piece of cardboard may be inserted in the opening d<3> for additional support of the mantle. In a modification, a central piece forms the four walls of the box, one of the walls having a small flanged portion attached by adhesive to its adjacent wall, and also having parts which form the cover and the bottom of the box.
