Abstract

4710. Wimhurst, E. N. Feb. 24. Folding boxes; lids and covers; fittings, external. -A collapsible box for documents &c. is made from two blanks, one comprising. a side wall A, a front wall G, a back wall, a lid C and a base E, and the other a side wall B, a front wall H, a back wall, a lid D, and a base F, the front and back walls of the box thus consisting of two thicknesses fastened together by wire stitches or other means. The base part F is provided with tongues f, which may be fastened to the front and back of the box by press fasteners f<1>, g<1>, and with a tab f<2> to facilitate the removal of the box from a shelf. The side A is creased at a<4> and provided with triangular flaps a<1> having tongues a<2>, which may be secured to the lid C by press fasteners a<3>, c<1>.
