123,871. Wight, A., and Dixon, J. R. April 11, 1918. Folding or knock-down boxes; corner joints.- The body of a collapsible box &c. is formed from a rectangular blank scored as indicated in Fig. 1. The parts c are bent up to form the sides of the box, and the triangular parts f, g, h, i are folded as shown in Fig. 2, the projecting portions j being then turned down over the corners of the box to secure all the parts in position. The lid of the box is formed similarly to the body, except that the parts f, g, h, i are folded outside the corners instead of inside. The size of the locking-flaps j may be increased by using blanks having extensions at the corners.
