3284. Filmer, R. H. Feb. 10. Folding boxes; lined boxes.-A box is made with one or more pieces of cardboard creased at the junctions a, c of the sides b with the bottom and with one another. Each side is provided with an inwardly-folding crease d extending upwards at an angle of 45 degrees from the left or right bottom corners, so that the sides may be collapsed. To strengthen the box, a collapsible lining having its sides e, Fig. 3, creased at the corners f may be provided, and the sides c may have flaps g. Instead of using the lining, the upper edges of the box sides may have flaps. The lid may be made in a similar manner to the body of the box.
