Folding boxes; straps &c., strengthening.-A collapsible box of cardboard &c. is formed with horizontally arranged stiffening-laps a at the upper edges of the sides and ends, the ends also having flaps or wings d cut away at the top corners and engaging under flaps e secured beneath the stiffening-laps on the sides. The sides and bottom are preferably formed from one piece of material, the ends being separate. The box is provided with a collapsible lid.
